West Trax announces two new SAP quality award winners

Specialist SAP consultancy West Trax, is delighted to announce the second group of winners to scoop a West Trax Quality Award for demonstrating optimal and efficient usage of their SAP systems.

The leading plastic closures and packaging systems manufacturer Menshen receives a Silver Award, and energy supplier Gaz De France receives a Bronze Award. West Trax launched the certification and award programme last year to enable well-run firms to analyse and publicly demonstrate the effectiveness of their use of SAP systems to the wider world.

The programme uses key performance indicators (KPI) to show which businesses are getting more out of their SAP systems across thirteen industries, and the winners are awarded with either a gold, silver or bronze mark.

Certification is based on qualification for seven defined SAP disciplines. To qualify in a discipline a system’s KPI’s are ranked against all similar data from analyses of other production systems in that specific industry.

A Bronze rating is awarded for that discipline if the system ranks within the top 30% of all systems analysed to date in the sector. If it is within the top 20% Silver rating is awarded and if in the top 10% Gold is awarded.

Menshen, who specialise in the manufacturing of bottles, tubes and spouts received a Silver award for the impressive performance of its SAP system. In a KPI Scan conducted by West Trax, Menshen’s key performance indicators far exceeded the average industry values in almost all measured areas and established new “Measured Best Practice’ results in three categories. This demonstrates Menshen’s ability to run SAP systems at optimum performance and efficiency.

Likewise, the SAP system of Gaz De France scored highly in all measured areas for which it was duly awarded with a Bronze certification.
