West Trax announces free on-line SAP system analyser

Since 2003, West Trax has been calculating and delivering Key Performance Indicators for clients running SAP production systems. The database of these analyses now exceeds 800 in 13 sectors across 8 countries, providing a unique benchmark for users to compare their systems against typical and best performance.

West Trax has now made available a KPI Analyser on its website www.westtrax.com to quickly compare two important KPI’s – potential maintenance savings and potential project resource savings.

An algorithm computes the potential savings for maintenance and project activities using a combination of the data entered via the website and data from the West Trax benchmark database. The algorithm also takes into consideration industry specific details, the SAP release level, and the age of the SAP installation.

Visitors are invited to answer seven questions which should take no more than 5 minutes. Every entry is completely anonymous, and no prior registration is required.

West Trax has created the KPI Analyser to assist CIO’s and CFO’s quickly identify the potential financial benefits of reviewing the effectiveness of their SAP systems through a full KPI Scan® - the West Trax service that provides sixteen KPI’s for production SAP systems. West Trax studies have consistently shown that about 95% of all SAP systems have significant scope for improvement, a result which should be a wake-up call to all SAP users.
